Fracture
At Kenmore Physiotherapy we regularly see patients after they have been immobilised after after sustaining a fractures.
Examples of this would be fractures of the upper limbs (shoulder/forearm/wrist/hand) or the lower limbs (hip/knee/fibia/fibula/ankle/foot). Physiotherapy in these cases would involve rehabilitation of the limb which includes stretching and strengthening around the involved joint and a program of the exercises to return the limb to its normal function.
